Some places change the way we see things. Guadeloupe was one of those places for me. After several years in healthcare, I felt the need to bring to life a more personal, more creative project, deeply inspired by what truly moves me: the islands.
It was when I arrived in the Guadeloupe archipelago that I truly rediscovered myself — more fulfilled, more grounded, embracing a simpler, more authentic lifestyle, closer to nature.
Every beach, every sunset, every hike became a source of inspiration. The shades of the ocean, the tropical vegetation, the cliffs, the wildflowers and the light of the archipelago are now reflected throughout our collections.
The name ARCHIBEL was born from the combination of two words: “archipel” (archipelago) and “belle” (beautiful). Archipel, for the islands and landscapes that inspire the brand. Belle, not only for beauty, but for the feeling of being comfortable in your own skin and simply being yourself.
When I arrived in Guadeloupe, I discovered much more than beautiful landscapes. I discovered a different relationship with the body. On the beaches, in the streets and during Carnival, I was struck by the energy, freedom and confidence expressed by so many women. A femininity that doesn’t seek to conform, but expresses itself naturally and proudly.
ARCHIBEL is about more than appearance. It’s about that feeling of being good in your own skin — free to move, laugh, travel and live without wondering whether you’re too much or not enough.
Each design is conceived in Guadeloupe and carefully crafted in Bali by workshops selected for their expertise. It was during a solo trip through Indonesia that I had the opportunity to meet this small family-run workshop.
We prioritize high-quality materials, including a selection of OEKO-TEX® certified recycled fabrics, to create swimwear designed to feel as good as it looks, season after season.
