Some places change the way we see things. Guadeloupe was one of them for me. After several years in the healthcare field, I felt the need to bring to life a more personal, more creative project, deeply inspired by what truly moves me: the islands.
It was upon arriving in the Guadeloupe archipelago that I rediscovered myself. More fulfilled, more aligned, in a simple, authentic lifestyle, close to nature.
Every beach, every sunset, every hike became a source of inspiration. The shades of the ocean, the tropical vegetation, the cliffs, the wild flowers, and the lights of the archipelago are now reflected in each of our collections.
The name ARCHIBEL combines two words: "archipel" (archipelago) and "belle" (beautiful). Archipelago, for the islands and landscapes that inspire the brand. Belle, for their beauty, of course, but also for the feeling of being comfortable in one's own skin and fully oneself.
Because when I arrived in Guadeloupe, I discovered much more than just landscapes. I observed a different way of relating to one's body. On the beaches, in the streets, or during carnival, I was struck by the energy, the freedom to be oneself, and the confidence exuded by so many women. A femininity that doesn't try to conform to standards, but expresses itself naturally and proudly.
ARCHIBEL isn't about appearance. It evokes that moment when you feel good in your own skin, free to move, laugh, travel, and live without wondering if you are enough of this or not enough of that.
Each design is conceived in Guadeloupe, then carefully crafted in Bali by workshops selected for their expertise. It was on a solo road trip in Indonesia that I had the chance to meet this small family workshop.
We prioritize quality materials, including a majority of OEKO-TEX® certified recycled fabrics, to offer swimsuits that are as comfortable to wear as they are durable season after season.
At ARCHIBEL, we believe that the most beautiful memories often begin at the water's edge. A first dip, a sunrise on a still-deserted beach, shared laughter, a spontaneous trip... Our creations are designed to accompany these moments.
